The Wallson Glass Saturday sessions provide an engaging stream of writing-without-thinking exercises that unlock language I wouldn’t have accessed otherwise. I always leave with a repository of lines that I return to in subsequent writing sessions. Often, I come away with the skeleton of a poem. More than anything, the sessions offer new approaches to the crafting of poetry. Geoffrey creates a welcoming community of poets and peppers each session with thoughtful insight.
Just as helpful are the smaller, more traditional six-week workshops. With five under my belt, I have now received valuable feedback on many poems. The workshops have refined both my own writing and my ability to offer useful critique to others.
