Description
The Compendium is a booklet containing over 300 miscellaneous lists, made especially for poets to “dip into”. Entries include lists of the names of birds, butterflies, gems, Egyptian gods and goddesses, mythical cities, etc.; but also oddities like descriptions of buildings made of ice or weird 18th century clocks or ancient books of Chinese astronomy; a treasure trove of strangeness, a sort of “wunderkammer” in words.
Order will include an assortment of other small pamphlets, as well.
